Business Matchmaking
As part of your Delegate Pass to DRC Mining Week 2024, you get access to the Business Matchmaking platform, which enables you to set up 1-2-1 meetings ahead of the event. This functionality relies heavily on pre-scheduling, thus requiring you to schedule meetings BEFORE the event, to allow the personal services team sufficient time to action a response from targeted participants.

 

We'll now ask you a couple of questions to profile who you would like to meet with. This helps to ensure a smooth process for you at the event - all the setup would have been done already and the matchmaking concierge service will help assist you set up meetings.

As part of your registration to Live Events that offer online networking and content as an additional service, some of your registration data will be passed to our Networking Application Provider to create an account within the platform. our data will be protected by the platform provider and not commercialised by them. You have the right to access your data, as well as editing or deleting it through the tools provided within the mobile application or web platform.

Once you have completed registration you will have access to the platform and the attendees' list within the event to book business matchmaking meetings. Your profile data (name, job title and company) will be visible to other attendees. As a result of such activities the platform or the event organiser may collect, collate and share your personal information and data about your movements and interactions whilst in the virtual event space with the relevant sponsor, partner, co-host or exhibitor to allow them to engage with you, subject to applicable data protection laws.

Some of our events and products are co-branded, co-delivered or sponsored by third party exhibitors or sponsors. We may share your details with these third party partners. The third party partner’s use of your details will be in accordance with their notice provided and its privacy policy and is not covered by this Privacy Policy.
